We now have the ability to personalize some of our items by laser engraving!
Weddings, company logos, corporate slogans, seminar themes, event messages,
recognition awards, and custom paperweights are examples of what
can be done. It is surprisingly affordable and runs can be small
or large quantities. The benefit of Glass Eye Studio having their own laser machine in
house is that you are not at the mercy of a third party. After all, it’s GES
work; we know you expect it to be done right and on time.
Some of our pieces engrave much better than others.

-What quanity are you looking for?
-Will you provide the artwork to be engraved, is your logo or message ready.
Engraving is available on a variety of surfaces:
We have the ability to engrave wood, crystal bases,
stainless steel and select smooth glass surfaces.
(Art work must be 300dpi or greater!)
Glass Eye Studio now has the ability to personalize some of our items by laser engraving!
We can laser etch as few as 3 pieces. As the number of pieces to be en-
graved increases, the fee per item decreases. Set-up fee for new artwork is generally $40.00 but actual
will depend on complexity of your project. Actual engraving minimum is $40.00 per project.
Any project will cost at least $80.00 for the engraving service
plus the product cost that you have selected to engrave on.
The price per piece can be as low as $2.50 per piece depending on the quantity.
Actual prices will be quoted for each project.
• Most wording is not a problem and can be produced with great accuracy and detail. Logos must
be provided by the customer.
• Normally on small runs, no physical sample will be made prior to the run and the physical item
can be completed in less than 20 days depending on inventory level of the item you select. If a
physical sample is required there will be a charge for the sample, or if the image is deemed to have
many variables, this to can be accommodated but it will add about a week to your lead-time. If you are
on a tight schedule just let us know. Often times if we know the date you require we can accommodate
you.
Some paperweights can be engraved on their surfaces but it is prefered to engrave on a base
such as the crystal stands. By doing so, the artistic integrity of the paperweight is left intact.
Some ornaments, bowls and vases may also be engraved. We will talk to you about the best
products to use for the engraving service.
NOTE: In the future we will post a photo list of eligible items, as well as a selection of available typefaces.
New customer discounts do not apply to the engraving service.
